Current Role

Tony specializes in accounting software analysis. As a trusted consultant, he documents processes and procedures, identifies risks, performs comprehensive internal control analyses, and organizes software demonstrations to ensure that his clients select ERP and accounting systems with confidence.

Additionally, Tony develops business plans and forecasts, facilitates financial reporting and performs other CFO services for businesses and not-for-profits.

Tony is also a member of Rehmann’s private equity group and works with startups and high growth companies.

Experience

Tony has more than 32years of experience in public accounting. He was a manager in the audit and client services departments of Boyes, Wright, Pittman & Co., PLLC (BWP) when the firm joined Rehmann in 2007.

Tony has extensive experience providing accounting, tax, software support, internal control, fraud prevention and forensic accounting services to closely-held businesses. He also has expertise in Form 1099 reporting regulations, worker classification, and payroll taxes.

• Tony is a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Advanced QuickBooks ProAdvisor and an Intacct Certified Services Provider.
• For more than 20 years, Tony has served as treasurer of the Healthy Traditions Network, the metro Detroit chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, which promotes dietary education and healthy meals.
• Tony actively participates in Dale Carnegie training courses and has earned certifications in high impact presentations, leadership training for managers and sales advantage.
