As the director of public sector outsourcing, Richard leads a team focused on providing CFO and finance department services. This team brings unique and cost-effective solutions, customized for each client — helping them efficiently and effectively implement their mission, vision and values.

EXPERIENCE 

Richard has worked in public accounting since 2005 when he joined Rehmann as an audit and assurance intern, gaining extensive experience in financial audits and single audit compliance testing. He joined the governmental outsourcing team in 2011 and based on his continued success with clients in this arena, became the director in 2015. His strong auditing background provides a valuable perspective as he serves clients in the CFO and finance department capacity.  From strategic planning initiatives, to participating in union negotiations and interacting with client legal counsel, Richard has experience taking on all aspects of the CFO role for his clients.  

Richard has worked with community mental health (CMH) agencies and prepaid inpatient health plans (PIHP), school districts, cities, counties, tribal governments and various not-for-profit organizations.
