Current Role

Chuck manages complex fraud investigations for public and private sector entities and leads Rehmann’s background, fire investigation and digital forensics divisions, providing a suite of professional investigative tools to help clients identify and prosecute fraud.

Chuck’s investigations of financial misappropriation have resulted in successful prosecutions of C-suite leadership, bank employees, public and school officials, and financial and legal professionals. He has been retained to advise key state agencies in fraud prevention strategies.

Experience

Chuck began his investigative career in 2003 with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Special Agent. During his 20 years with the FBI, he served in the St. Louis and Detroit divisions. Chuck led countless successful criminal investigations into complex financial, healthcare fraud, public corruption, violent gang and narcotics trafficking, violent crimes against children, and domestic and international terrorism matters. Chuck completed OCONUS assignments representing the FBI in the middle east and Europe. Chuck served in leadership roles at FBIHQ and most recently as the Supervisory Senior Resident Agent of the Detroit Division/Flint Resident Agency (FLRA) which covers six Michigan counties.

Prior to joining the FBI, Chuck was a manager with an international financial services firm in Atlanta, Georgia providing business advisory services leveraging linear programming models.

Chuck prioritizes effective collaboration and goal-focused, creative problem-solving, beginning with the end in mind.
