Rehmann advisors named to National Association of Plan Advisors 2023 Top Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40 list

Rehmann, a fully integrated professional advisory firm, is pleased to announce that two if its advisors have been named to the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) 2023 list of Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40.

Steven Gibson, CFA, and Simon Micakaj, CFPA, C(K)P, were drawn from a pool of 700 nominations which were vetted by a panel of senior advisor industry experts. The finalists are known as “Aces” and are widely seen as the future leaders of the retirement plan advisor industry. This is Gibson’s seventh consecutive year and Micakaj’s second consecutive year placed on the list.

Gibson began his career in financial services in 2008, providing consulting services for corporations, non-profits, and governments. Joining Rehmann in 2020, Gibson holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification, Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) and the Series 65. He is a member of Retirement Plan Advisory Group, the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA), Michigan Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems (MAPERS), Alliance Benefits Council of Detroit, CFA Institute, and CFA Society of Detroit.

Micakaj has supported high net worth individuals and their families, business owners, healthcare professionals, and non-profit organizations throughout his career, which began in 2009. Micakaj is a Detroit Economic Club Young Leader, Troy Chamber of Commerce Committee Member, and Retirement Plan Advisory Group Member. He has been with Rehmann since 2016.

Both Gibson and Micakaj are frequent speakers for graduate level courses as well as presenters at industry seminars.
