Current Role
Brent partners with nonprofit organizations, community mental health agencies, local governments and other mission-driven organizations to strengthen leadership, improve operations, and develop strategies that create lasting organizational impact. He works closely with executive leadership teams and boards of directors to facilitate strategic planning, assess organizational effectiveness, improve governance, and guide organizations through periods of growth and change.
With more than 25 years of executive leadership experience, Brent collaborates with clients from discovery to planning, implementation, and ongoing advisory support.

Experience
Brent joined Rehmann after more than two decades in executive leadership, most recently as CEO of a California-based disability services organization and previously as president & CEO of a Michigan-based disability services organization. He has led organizations through transformational growth, strategic planning, operational improvements, and significant financial expansion.
As CEO, Brent managed budgets exceeding $35 million, led teams of more than 260 employees, expanded programs across multiple counties, diversified revenue streams, and secured more than $5 million in federal funding. He brings extensive experience working with boards, government agencies, community stakeholders, and executive teams to drive performance and mission-focused outcomes.

- Brent has served as a CARF International Surveyor since 2011, evaluating organizations throughout the United States on leadership, governance, finance, risk management, human resources, and operational excellence.
- Brent has held numerous statewide leadership positions, including Chair of Incompass Michigan, Chair of the Michigan Behavioral Health & Wellness Collaborative, Chair of the Dearborn Area Chamber of Commerce, and Vice Chair of the Michigan Council for Rehabilitation Services.
- Dedicated to his continuing education, Brent completed Harvard Business School Executive Education in Strategic Perspectives in Non-Profit Management.
