Christine M. Slade, CPA

Current Role

Christine manages audits, reviews and agreed-upon procedures engagements, focusing on closely-held manufacturing companies and not-for-profit organizations. She has assisted with numerous internal control projects, including an engagement where she documented the transaction flow of processes, identified key control points, and provided summary recommendations related to process and control enhancements for an internationally known arts organization.

Christine serves on the firm’s not-for-profit industry group subcommittee. She also leads internal not-for-profit training for executives throughout the firm and external webinars on various not-for-profit topics for clients.

Experience

Christine has worked as an auditor in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, not-for-profit and employee benefit plans. She has assisted on both closely-held business and publicly-traded company audits, including the implementation and performance of Sarbanes Oxley compliance audits.

Christine joined Rehmann in 2013 as part of our business combination with Spilman, Hills & Heidebrink, Ltd. Prior to joining Spilman in 2007, she worked in the audit department of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
