This year Rehmann has the honor of celebrating our 85th anniversary. That kind of longevity is rare and did not happen without hard work and commitment to our purpose, our clients, and our associates.
Nearly everything about our business looks different than it did when we started. Technology continues to reshape how we work. Our clients’ needs have evolved, and we’ve shifted our focus toward advisory services to provide the deeper, more strategic support they expect. The changing priorities of our associates have always been the central driver of updates we’ve made to our culture. As we’ve grown, we’ve become more intentional about our processes, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Our ability to adapt comes straight from our entrepreneurial spirit. Time and again, our past leaders thought beyond the needs of the moment, asking a harder question: what will our clients and associates need down the road? That forward-looking discipline shaped nearly every major decision we’ve made, whether investing in new service lines, developing talent, improving processes, or embracing new technologies with purpose. Each of those decisions was thoughtful, measured, and rooted in a genuine desire to help others succeed. That example still guides us today and will guide every leader who follows.
At its core, though, this remains a profession centered around people and relationships. That truth hasn’t changed in 85 years, and I don’t believe it ever will.
We have clients who’ve trusted us across multiple generations and associates who’ve built long, fulfilling careers here. That loyalty doesn’t happen by accident. It speaks to the culture we’ve built and the values we strive to live by every day. Rehmann isn’t the name on the building. It’s the associates, families, and communities who bring it to life.
Our commitment to integrity, caring, and service has defined Rehmann. They’re the standards we measure ourselves against. Markets shift, technology advances, and client expectations rise. Values, held firmly and lived consistently, are what keep a firm steady through all of it.
We’ve reached a remarkable milestone, but we don’t plan on stopping any time soon. We’ll keep adapting, investing in our people, and putting relationships first.
To our associates, clients, families, and communities: thank you for believing in us. This milestone belongs to all of you. Here’s to the next 85 years, and to building them together.
