Current Role

Tom leads Rehmann’s manufacturing industry group and CFO services team, bringing significant industry knowledge and experience to guide and serve our clients most effectively. Tom serves clients in an advisory capacity, providing outsourced and interim CFO services, business financing solutions, turnaround management, strategic planning, system implementations and transactional advisory services.

Experience

Tom has nearly 20 years of experience as a chief financial officer. Prior to joining Rehmann in 2017, Tom was a founding partner and CFO for a business consulting firm that primarily served small to middle market companies, and he also worked for ten years as a CFO for a $110 million multi-site Tier I automotive supplier.

Tom has significant experience in financial executive leadership, business financing and debt restructuring, facilitating rapid turnaround to profitability and assisting organizations through ownership transfer and leading company acquisition teams. He has held various interim executive roles where select accomplishments included leading a company through ownership transfer, introducing a significant new customer and assisting a new president transition into their role.

A Closer Look

  • Tom has worked across a wide spectrum of industries and types of companies including automotive, RV, heavy duty, aggregate and transportation industries and companies in injection molding, stamping, fabricating, distribution, assembly and service companies.
  • Throughout his career, Tom completed over $20 million in debt restructuring projects utilizing a large network of lenders and relationships to successfully refinance properly positioned companies.
  • As an involved member of his community, Tom serves as chair of the Jackson High School Ambassador Dinner & Auction and has served on the board of directors for a number of local nonprofit organizations, including the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce.
