Ryan is the office managing principal for Rehmann’s Troy office. He is committed to supporting a wide array of closely held businesses and their owners, providing innovative business and tax strategies. He provides extensive tax consulting and compliance services for both corporate entities and individual clients.

In addition, Ryan leads the automotive dealership niche at Rehmann, which services about 30 different dealer groups and more than 150 dealership sites across various states.

Experience

Ryan joined Rehmann in 2013. Since then, he has gained experience in tax consulting and planning, estate planning, financial statement reporting and general business consulting for a variety of industries. His extensive experience encompasses tax and business engagements for clients across various industries, with revenue ranging from $1 million to $700 million. Ryan provides valuable advice to clients on financial and operational enhancements and has also served as an interim controller. Over the last several years, Ryan has dedicated his focus to automotive dealerships.

• Ryan sits on the board for Mary’s Children Family Center (a not-for-profit that provides a day program for young adults with brain injuries) and the Secured Finance Network Michigan Chapter (SFNet) (a national resource for all organizations and professionals who deliver and enable secured finance to businesses).
• Ryan is an active member of the Troy Chamber of Commerce, Michigan Auto Dealers Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
• In 2019, Ryan was published in Accounting Today alongside Rehmann’s CMO regarding generational perspectives on the role of data analytics.
