Ryan Wichmann, CPA

Current Role

Ryan serves a variety of closely held companies by providing proactive solutions to help them grow their business. He provides tax consulting and compliance services to both businesses and individuals. In addition, he performs financial statement preparation, financial statement review and compilation engagements with a focus on new vehicle dealerships and leasing companies. Ryan currently leads the automotive dealership group at Rehmann and works directly with over 20 different dealerships.

Experience

Ryan joined Rehmann in 2013. Since then, he has gained experience in tax consulting and planning, estate planning, financial statement reporting and general business consulting for a variety of industries. Over the last seven years, Ryan has focused on automotive dealerships.

With a strong background in advisory services, Ryan was selected as a member of the firm’s advisory and tax rapid response team for COVID-19 relief for individuals and businesses.

• In 2019, Ryan was published in Accounting Today alongside Rehmann’s CMO regarding generational perspectives on the role of data analytics.
• Ryan is a member of the Troy Chamber of Commerce, a board member for Mary’s Children Family Center (a not-for-profit that provides a daily program for young adults with brain injuries) and a board member for the Secured Finance Network Michigan Chapter (SFNet) (a national resource for all organizations and professionals who deliver and enable secured finance to businesses).
