Maher is a trusted business advisor who helps to ensure that clients’ needs are met through the array of services Rehmann offers. Being in the restaurant and real estate business, Maher has first-hand experience on solutions needed to create and sustain a successful business. As an advisor, Maher is known for his practical solutions and efficient approach. He helps companies accomplish their strategic goals by gaining an in-depth understanding of business operations, addressing areas of concern, and identifying deficiencies. Experience

Maher joined Rehmann in 2015. His professional career began in 2009 at Ernst & Young, where he gained experience providing internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), governmental audit, assurance, and accounting services. Maher then opened restaurants and created a real estate company prior to joining Rehmann. Maher manages many clients throughout the Midwest and is the trusted business advisor for many. He has advised privately held and closely held businesses through various stages of the business lifecycle, from startup to sale.

• Maher advises a wide range of privately held businesses, including start-ups and established companies. He brings a well-rounded advisory approach, drawing on experience to assist clients obtain financing, interpret financials, understand tax impact, implement software systems and optimize business processes.
• An ambitious entrepreneur, Maher opened two restaurants within two years of each other shortly after college. He leverages his direct insight into business operations to advise other business owners and executives on contract review, negotiations, planning, strategy, marketing, operational development, and CFO services.
