Current Role

Kimberly is a principal with Rehmann’s tax team, providing a variety of tax consulting services, as well as income tax planning and preparation services to individuals, corporations and partnerships. As a trusted advisor to both medium and large-sized clients, Kimberly uses her deep technical knowledge to translate complex tax regulations into proactive ideas that help her clients succeed. As the need arises, she provides clients with direct access to Rehmann’s broad range of tax and other consulting specialists. 

Kimberly is a member of the firm’s real estate advisory team, working with industry specialists from around the firm to share best practices. She serves many clients in the construction, oil and gas, agribusiness, manufacturing, retail and service industries.

Experience 

Kimberly has worked in public and private accounting since 1997. Prior to joining Rehmann in 2008, Kimberly worked at a “Big Four” public accounting firm in Chicago, and also as a domestic tax supervisor at Quaker Oats Corporation and a tax analyst with Midway Games, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois.  

A Closer Look

  • Kimberly has successfully advised multiple clients through ESOP transitions. 
  • Clients rely on Kimberly to guide them on their choice of entity structure and method of accounting options to maximize tax savings, including accounting methods for long-term construction contracts. 
  • Kimberly is experienced with accelerating depreciation deductions for capital expenditure planning.  
  • As a member of Rehmann’s tax reform implementation team, Kimberly is responsible for helping clients navigate the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, including Section 199A.
