Current Role

Joe specializes in finding people, information and assets where the trail has gone cold and deadlines are drawing near. In addition to rescuing cases for clients in difficult circumstances, he is also a trained origin and cause fire and explosion investigator, and manager of our surveillance operations. Joe also handles PIP, FMLA, and property investigations and conducts social engineering tests of security measures for banks and other critical clients.

Experience

Joe joined Rehmann in 1998 and has developed a broad investigative skill set. He heads the surveillance division and leads investigations in a variety of areas, including fraud, theft, employee productivity, embezzlement, asset recovery, witness location, investigative interviews, and obtaining witness statements.  Joe conducts background investigations, executive protection services, undercover operations, fire origin and cause investigations, security consulting and external social engineering investigations. Joe has provided testimony in deposition and trial.

Joe is a Board Certified Fire Investigator (National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications), issued by the Michigan State Police, Fire Marshal Division. He is also a Board Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator, issued by the National Association of Fire Investigators.
