Current Role

Jennifer is a regional director of advisory and tax services for the Southeast Michigan region. She provides a variety of tax compliance and tax consulting services for clients, including individuals and closely-held businesses in manufacturing, real estate and professional services industries.

Jennifer serves on Rehmann’s tax inspection team and advises on tax reform, tangible property regulations, tax advantages from fixed assets, entity structures and tax savings strategies. She is also one of the Firm’s leaders in helping clients understand and comply with the provisions of the Affordable Care Act.

Experience

Jennifer joined Rehmann in 2013 as part of our business combination with Spilman, Hills & Heidebrink, Ltd. Her public accounting career began in 1996, when she joined Spilman as the first intern in the tax department. She has experience in pass-through entities, multi-state engagements and consolidated returns.

A Closer Look

  • Jennifer is passionate about supporting women in the workplace and serves as a mentor to women throughout the Firm. She represented Rehmann at the AICPA’s Women’s Global Leadership Summit in San Francisco.
  • Jennifer spearheads recruitment and training in the Toledo office and is dedicated to developing and mentoring those she works with.
  • Actively involved in her community, Jennifer is president of St. Richard School’s advisory council, a member of the Village of Swanton income tax review board and a member of the Fulton County Economic Development Corporation.
  • Jennifer is a member of the Northwest Ohio Development Assistance Corporation’s (NADCO) Small Business Association (SBA) 504 loans committee, which helps ensure businesses have access to funding that aids in the purchase and repair of business-related assets.
