Experience 

Dan brings over 35 years of experience in public accounting. Prior to joining Rehmann, Dan was a principal and managing partner with Rasmussen, Teller & Caron, which combined with Rehmann in 2026 to offer an expanded level of service. He also gained tax experience with an international “big four” firm prior to that.  

A Closer Look 

• Actively involved in the community, Dan previously served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for North Central Michigan College, past president of the Sunrise Rotary Club of Petoskey and serves as a tournament director and treasurer for the popular Petoskey Education Foundation Golf Outing.  
• He has also previously held board roles with SFX Troop 7 Boy Scouts, Petoskey Education Foundation, and Tip of the Mitt Michigan State University Alumni Club, in addition to spending 10 years managing baseball teams within the Petoskey Little League. 
• Continually expanding his professional knowledge, Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Estate Planning Council of Northern Michigan.
