Cathy provides audit and review services to her clients across a variety of industries. She is also known for her specialty in working as a liaison between private companies and venture capital or private equity groups that have invested in the Florida marketplace.

Cathy also has global experience, auditing engagements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and performing due diligence engagements related to the acquisition and sale of various companies.

Experience

Cathy has practiced in public accounting for over 30 years. She joined Vestal & Wiler in 2003, which combined with Rehmann in 2022 to offer an expanded level of service. Prior to joining Vestal & Wiler, Cathy was a shareholder with a local accounting firm in Winter Park, Florida and also spent 10 years with a Big Four firm.

She has gained widespread experience working with clients in the technology, SaaS, real estate, hospitality, construction, manufacturing, management, service organizations, and common interest realty associations industries.

• Cathy frequently lectures and teaches various groups on auditing, accounting and finance.
• Cathy is passionate about her community and she is a graduate of Leadership Orlando. She has held several roles for organizations including Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) former board member, ACG 2021 Florida Capital Connection co-chair, Big Brother & Big Sisters past president / former board member, and Orange County Public Schools Foundation volunteer.
• Cathy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
