Irene is recognized throughout Florida as an employee benefit plan expert and lectures frequently on the nuances of employee benefit plans.

Experience

Irene joined Vestal & Wiler in 1995, which combined with Rehmann in 2022 to offer an expanded level of service. Since beginning her career with Vestal & Wiler as an intern, she has gained significant experience working with clients in the manufacturing and distribution, professional service, real estate development, healthcare, construction, and automotive dealership industries.

With Vestal & Wiler, Irene was the partner in charge of the accounting and auditing services department, and the firm’s designated audit partner for the AICPA Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, responsible for all aspects of the firm’s employee benefit plan practice.

A Closer Look

• Actively involved in the community, Irene serves as treasurer of Friends of the Orange County Library.
• Irene is the past president of UCF Accounting Advisory Board and ASPPA Benefits Council of Central Florida, and the past treasurer of Mustard Seed of Central Florida and Habitat for Humanity of Central Florida.
• Irene is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
