Matt serves as a trusted business advisor, specializing in full service accounting, tax, and consulting services for businesses of all sizes. In addition to minimizing tax exposure, Matt is a natural connector and devoted to seeing his clients achieve their goals.

Experience 

Matt began his public accounting career in 2009. Prior to Matt’s current role, he worked with Fortin & Associates as a senior manager and with Rehmann as an intern. He has also completed volunteer work within the accounting department of Family Futures.

• Matt is a team-player who enjoys mentoring associates and leading by example through involvement in firm-wide training seminars, staff development and recruiting events. 
• When Matt is not spending time with his wife and two children, he is actively involved in the community as treasurer for Corinth Reformed Church.  
• Matt stays up to date on issues impacting his client base through active participation in organizations such as the Construction Financial Management Association, Home Builders Association of Greater Grand Rapids, Association for Corporate Growth, Small Business Association of Michigan, Lakeshore Advantage, and Start Garden.
