Rehmann associates honored at MICPA awards

In recognition of their outstanding commitment and leadership, both to the CPA profession and communities, three Rehmann associates were honored at the 2018 Michigan Association of CPAs (MICPA) Awards.

The awards honor individuals within the accounting profession that have exemplified excellence through dedication, leadership and service. More than 60 CPAs were honored this year.

Liz Ziesmer, CPA, CBA received the Women to Watch Experienced Leader Award in recognition of her significant contributions to the public accounting profession, her community and the overall advancement of women.

Ziesmer serves as the director of financial institutions at Rehmann and participates in several firm-wide committees with a focus on driving both the quality and profitably of Rehmann’s assurance practice. She has not only formally mentored many associates through Rehmann’s Emerging Leaders (EL) and Strategic Training in Executive Performance (STEP) programs, she has also informally mentored countless additional associates along the way.

Victoria Mundinger was honored for her involvement with the 2017/2018 Emerging Leaders Task Force and received the Outstanding Task Force Award. Emerging Leaders is an opportunity for new CPAs to develop relationships with colleagues and potential clients while enhancing the growth of the CPA profession. Mundinger is a tax manager at Rehmann and focuses on international tax services for clients.

Additionally, Audrey Victor, CPA was recognized for her time serving on the MICPA Tax Task Force. Victor is a tax senior manager for Rehmann and focuses on business and tax consulting services for individuals and closely held companies. She also has extensive experience with estates and trusts.

This year’s honorees were recognized at a dinner ceremony on October 3, 2018 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.
