Mike is a principal with Rehmann and is located in the Troy office. He assists clients with tax consulting studies including Research and Development Tax Credit studies and Domestic Production Activity Deductions.
Mike started his career in 1996 and has accounting experience in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining Rehmann in 2005, Mike spent four years at a large international and multi-state manufacturing company ensuring the company was compliant with all its federal, state and local income taxes. In addition, he performed numerous studies and projects for the company, including Cost Reclassification, Research and Development Tax Credits, Changes in Methods of Accounting, FAS 109 provisions for an SEC registrant, and researching international tax issues.
Preceding Mike’s private sector position, he spent four years at Grant Thornton, and before that, he gained experience at another national firm and a large local public accounting firm.
Mike is also a Certified Manufacturing Professional (CMP).
