At Rehmann, we treat our interns as staff-level associates, providing them meaningful work that will encourage growth in both their soft skills and their technical skills within assurance or tax. The experience is focused on ensuring that interns are exposed to a variety of work and a variety of clients, allowing them to identify their desired direction within a public accounting career.
Timeline
Rehmann hosts interns all throughout the year with each internship requiring a 40+ hour commitment per week. Each experience is unique, depending on the time of year, the service line, and the intern’s home office. The Firm typically offers the following opportunities:
- January – April: Assurance internships, tax internships
- May – August: Assurance internships
- August – December: Assurance internships with a governmental focus
Minimum requirements
The minimum requirements to apply to a Rehmann internship include:
- Pursuit of an accounting major and CPA license
- Successful completion of Intermediate Financial Accounting I by the start of the internship
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
