Flexibility and proactive solutions prove to add value

Choon's Design – the company behind Rainbow Loom – started with humble beginnings in founder and CEO Choon Ng's living room. He wanted a way to spend more time with his daughters, who were making bracelets out of small rubber bands. His fingers were too big, so Choon used his engineering background to develop a wooden board with pins so he could more easily maneuver the bands. Multiple enhancements later, that wooden board transformed into Rainbow Loom...

Hospital administration at a Midwestern hospital with more than 250 beds sought the expertise of Rehmann to identify issues and provide support to the physician practice administrator. The initial areas of concern were compensation methodologies, physician hospital goal integration, and needed improvement with accounts receivable and revenue cycle management. Rehmann’s team of health care specialists worked with several different specialty and primary care services focusing on revenue cycle management, ultimately helping them reduce days in accounts receivable from more than 100 days, to a level consistent with Medical Group Management Association’s benchmark of 20-35 days. Utilizing a RVU methodology, Rehmann then helped the organization assess physician productivity and revenue generation in order to realign their compensation structure for all of the hospital’s employed physician practices...
