REHMANN EXPANDS CORPORATE INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES

Rehmann is proud to announce the creation of our newest enhanced service offering. Effective July 1, 2010, Veritas Global, LLC will combine with Kerby Bailey and Associates to form Rehmann Corporate Investigative Services (CIS). Their focus will be assisting businesses with corporate due diligence, business intelligence and analysis, fraud and risk management services as well as continuing to concentrate on growing their strong insurance defense practice.
Clients are increasingly demanding IT and accounting forensics, corporate investigations and global intelligence. To answer that demand, Rehmann felt the need to increase its investigative services offerings. The acquisition of Veritas will allow Rehmann to broaden its base of expertise and enhance its client service offerings.

Gregory Suhajda will serve as President of Rehmann Corporate Investigative Services (CIS). Greg served as a Special Agent with both the United States Secret Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). He has advised large multi-national corporations regarding global strategy and geo-political assessments. Greg will work with clients to develop corporate security platforms from the ground up.

Stephen C. Kerby will serve as Chief Operating Officer of Rehmann CIS. He has been extensively involved in fraud and background investigations and has supervised over 1,500 surveillances in connection with internal theft, insurance defense, worker's compensation and employee productivity. Steve will oversee all Rehmann CIS operations and serve as lead on many investigative projects.

William J. Kowalski, JD, will serve as Vice President and Director of Corporate Investigations of Rehmann CIS. Bill has more than 25 years experience as a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) specializing in counter-terrorism, counterintelligence and criminal/fraud investigations. Bill will conduct investigations and deliver litigation support to attorneys to help secure successful prosecution of offenders.

Scott A. Bailey, CISM, will serve as the Director of Digital Forensics and IT Security Consulting of Rehmann CIS. He has more than 24 years of experience in risk management, information security and digital forensic fields. Scott is nationally recognized for his expertise in information security. He will serve as a subject matter expert in digital forensics and e-Discovery.

William F. Edwards, CPA, will serve as Director of Financial Investigations of Rehmann CIS. Bill was employed with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 29 years. Most recently, he served as a vice president in the Fraud Investigation Services Department of Comerica Bank. He will oversee fraud investigations and the research of legal documents served on corporations.
