Greg is a principal with Rehmann and is based in the Farmington Hills office. Greg is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) from the American Society of Appraisers.
Greg has significant experience in the valuation of ownership interests of closely held businesses for a wide variety of purposes, from litigation support to financial statement reporting, from gift and estate tax matters to ownership transition. Greg’s experience includes valuation work for share-based payments (ASC718), purchase price allocation (ASC805), intangible asset impairment testing and reporting (ASC350), long-lived asset impairment testing and reporting (ASC360), ESOPs, fairness opinions, spinoffs and divestitures and other valuation-related matters. Greg has provided critique of valuation work prepared by other professionals and has assisted Rehmann principals in preparing to provide expert testimony. He has completed significant coursework in conjunction with obtaining his ASA accreditation including ASA BV202, ASA BV203, and ASA BV204.
Prior to joining Rehmann, he was a vice president at Duff & Phelps, LLC in Novi, MI.
