Ginny brings a unique perspective to the Rehmann Healthcare Management Advisors Group as she utilizes her extensive experience in the management and oversight of physician groups. She provides consultation services regarding practice structure, operations and growth, provider compensation, governance, merger and acquisition due diligence (including initial implementation and orientation), contracting, revenue cycle gap analysis (with coding and documentation of risk assessment and review), remedial action plans and education for outlier providers, and regulatory compliance with HIPAA, PQRS, MU, MACRA and MIPS.
Ginny has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare operations management and finance, ensuring productivity, profitability and compliance for both hospital-owned groups and independent practices including small, mid-size and large groups of various medical specialties. Ginny has broad experience in strategic and organizational key performance indicators, business systems reengineering, process and procedure development, and revenue growth initiatives. She is a qualified expert witness and has provided testimony and expert reports for national healthcare clients.
Prior to joining Rehmann in 2014, Ginny served as the vice president and chief operating officer for a physician enterprise in Washington where she directed the clinical and business operations of approximately 250 hospital-employed providers in private practice settings and hospital-based specialties.
Ginny currently attends Bowling Green State University. She is a Certified Medical Assistant, Certified Professional Coder, Certified Professional Compliance Officer and a Certified Healthcare Business Consultant.
