What began in 1941 as a single Saginaw-based accounting firm has evolved into a synergistic collection of business services with a common mission: to deliver valued, comprehensive solutions through "The Rehmann Experience." This groundbreaking approach offers clients direct access to associates committed to working collaboratively to provide more ideas, more service and more experience. Rehmann has grown to become one of the largest CPA, business consulting and financial advising firms in the country, with nearly 800 associates in offices located in Michigan, Ohio and Florida.
It all started when Wayne Wagar opened the company’s doors in September 1941. Just over 13 years later, Jack Rehmann joined the firm, which became Wagar, Lunt and Rehmann in 1961. Throughout the 1980s, growth skyrocketed. In October 1985, the firm became Rehmann, Robson and Co. under the direction of CEO Steven D. Kelly. In 2015, Randy Rupp was named CEO.
With an eye on developing diverse business services, the firm has since gone through a number of business combinations with other accounting, business consulting and wealth management firms, becoming a powerful advocate of proactive solutions for clients.
Rehmann continues leading the charge of a new class of accounting and business consulting firms, one that continues to adapt to a constantly evolving market. Our goal is to meet the demands of today’s businesses by offering a greater scope of resources and experience. Rehmann brings together these companies and subsidiaries under a common umbrella and identity:
